PASSERINVEST GROUP plans park fitness stations and other sporting activities in Nové Roztyly

Runs through Krč Forest are held every Monday from 6:30 p.m. Under the direction of experienced instructors, Soňa Hrabec Kotulov

PASSERINVEST GROUP is continuing with the cultivation of the park on the edge of Krč Forest close to the Roztyly metro station. There are currently new fitness stations going up here, offering a set of exercise and fitness machines. Plus, free sporting activities have been prepared all summer long for the general public, including jogging and yoga.

As part of its recultivation, PASSERINVEST GROUP has cleared away non-native trees and shrubs from another section of the land and now it is preparing fitness stations, a set of fitness machines where the exercise is performed with the weight of one’s own body. The set should be completed during the course of July.

Another planned project in the locality is the creation of a fitness field for seniors with a special set of fitness machines. “We are glad that the park has its supporters and thus we would like to offer them the widest spectrum of possible activities. In addition to the workout stations, we are planning another set of fitness machines especially for seniors, thanks to which they will get new opportunities for active recreation and the exercising of motor skills. At this moment, the project is in the preparatory phase, nevertheless we would like to complete it during the course of the summer holidays,” commented Martin Unger, the Technical Director of PASSERINVET GROUP, with regard to the modifications currently underway.

Other sporting activities have been prepared for visitors in Nové Roztyly all summer long. Runs through Krč Forest are held every Monday from 6:30 p.m. Under the direction of experienced instructors, Soňa Hrabec Kotulová and Michal Hrabec from Running2.cz, those interested can test their jogging skills, perfect their technique and listen to useful tips on how to run and to improve. There are also free yoga lessons every Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. in the park next to Za Větrem restaurant for those who are interested in sports, but do not want to run.

“The revitalisation of the park, disc golf course, fitness stations and exercise machines for seniors are only the first steps in the rebirth of the park’s function as a place to meet and relax. As part of the plan for the entire area, we are also preparing walking, jogging and bike paths, making the streams which have been piped underground accessible again, along with flower meadows, an educational trail, water surfaces, etc., all thought out to return life to the area. The adjacent residential and office construction will supplement the park with an urban function, i.e. spaces for living and working. Once again, all with respect to the creation of pleasant and functional urban units, which we consider to be the only proper way to create a pleasant, while modern and sustainable city,” added Ondřej Nosál, the External Relations Manager of PASSERINVEST GROUP.
