Two New Tenants Move In to Prague’s BB Centrum: Mars and Wrigley

Two new tenants  – Mars and Wrigley – moved into their new offices, located in Building G, BB Centrum’s 16th building, at the beginning of May. Building G was constructed at the corner of Michelská and Baarova streets in Prague in late 2013.

 Both companies occupy nearly 2,500 sq m of offices in Building G. “We believe the this change will help us better reach our customers, as well as increase our attractiveness on the employment market. We looked for a place where we would feel at home and which best reflects the family atmosphere of our companies. We like the possibility to meet somewhere other than around a conference room table – such as on the terrace or in the garden that’s part of the building,“ explained Jakub Kolesa, General Manager, Mars Czech, s.r.o..

Mars Czech Republic and Slovakia is part of Mars, Inc. one of the world’s largest family-owned corporations. In the Czech Republic, Mars is active in four business segments: chocolate, pet foods, major food brands, and Wrigley chewing gums and confectionaries. It has been active on the Czech and Slovak markets since 1992.

Building G, located at Michelská 1552/58, rises to four aboveground floors and offers 5,500 sq m of variable office space. Potential tenants can choose from large, spacious offices or smaller units, ranging in size from 150 to 550 sq m. In addition, the building’s ground floor offers over 1,000 sq m of rentable space designed primarily for shops and services. There is also plenty of parking available in the underground parking garage.

The first retail tenants of Building G are companies are of greatest interest to those who love sports, specifically golf and running. This March, two new shops opened - GolfProfi Store Praha and RunExpert. Together these two stores, located on the building’s ground floor, occupy 660 sq m of space. Currently there is one remaining retail space of 250 sq m available, and office space is already 55% rented out.

As with other PASSERINVEST GROUP projects, Building G respects not only the environment, but also the people who work in it. It has a “B” energy rating and is certified as a BREEAM green building. This fact is one of the main reasons why office and retail space in the building is in great demand. In addition, we offer tours for those interested in leasing office space and we also have a fully furnished showroom. Tours of the building and the showroom, located on the second floor of Building G, are available at any time upon request.
