The BB Centrum office park is currently fully occupied, including the newest Building ALPHA. The last vacant premises that were available will go to STROM telecom company specialised in development and manufacturing of communications equipment, digital communications systems and information systems used by telephone services carriers. STROM telecom has leased 2,185-sqm office premises on levels 3 and 4 of Building ALPHA, together with 37 parking places. From April 2005 on, they will be next-door neighbours of Microsoft, Czech Puma Dassler, EDS, Salve Group, D.S.Leasing, Setuza, ČEZ, British Telecom, Huawei Technologies and the developer of the scheme, Passerinvest Group.
More than 12,500-sqm office premises and 220 parking places are fully leased out in Building ALPHA. In the same way, each of the other buildings completed in BB Centrum has been fully occupied on a long-time basis. Major companies headquartered there give the modern Prague office district a good name. BB Centrum has developed into the largest and most successful office park in the CR, with a progressive urban design and growth potential until 2011 and further on.
Marketing Manager Zbyněk Passer, Passerinvest Group, says: “Given the seriousness of the situation on the Prague real estate market, we are really proud to announce that each of our buildings has been fully occupied. The survey conducted by CB Richard Ellis confirms that the situation worsens year after year: the rate of vacant office premises in the capital has risen from 11.5% (end of 2002) to 12.5% (end of 2003) and to 15% (end of 2004). In spite of this negative trend, I do hope that we will be successful at launching further buildings of BB Centrum as well. Now it is Building BETA that is on offer. With its three basements and nine above-ground storeys, the building will provide an 18,000-sqm area for lease in April 2005. I am fully confident that BETA will be a considerable asset to the whole complex as it is the first building in BB Centrum to offer relatively large retail areas. The major part of the first above-ground storey will house the famous Hacienda Mexicana restaurant, a breakfast café and a bar. There will be pleasant landscaped areas, including a summer garden for the restaurant and café,” concludes Zbyněk Passer.
