Running track opens in Nové Roztyly Park

Running track opens in Nové Roztyly Park

Passerinvest Group, a.s. has built another public sports area on the territory of the former Interlov complex close to the Roztyly metro station, specifically a new outdoor running circuit. In is another part of the long-term plan to revitalise this land, owned by the company. The track is very easily accessible from the Roztyly metro station and from the adjacent Krč Forest. The circuit has a packed gravel surface and, with its length of 650 metres, is ideal for condition training and measuring individual time intervals.

The new running track is equipped with informative markings that designate the starting line and two running sections every fifty metres. The packed gravel finish of the track enables comfortable movement without any fear of injury caused by tripping on uneven surfaces. Six benches have also been placed around the circuit for resting or stretching. The track is easily accessible; the 100-metre stretch following the starting line is parallel to the yellow hiking path and A222 cycling path, which divides the Krč forest from the Nové Roztyly Park.

The running track, however, is not the only place suitable for sporting activities in Nové Roztyly Park. Several other public recreational areas have also been added to Passerinvest Group’s land in recent years. There is, for example, a disc golf course and a workout area, which offers a set of exercise machines that make it possible to exercise using the weight of your own body. In the same year, outdoor fitness facilities were also opened in the immediate vicinity for all generations, though especially for senior citizens.  Thanks to the machines that are installed in the park, everybody can choose a suitable activity corresponding to the shape they are in. They can be used for light stretching, body toning or more demanding exercise. The investor is Passerinvest Group, a.s., which also manages all these sports facilities so that the general public can use them all year round.
